Frequently asked questions
Do I need a long-term commitment?
No. Plans are monthly unless your checkout shows a different billing interval. There is no long-term contract for the self-serve plans.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Use Settings > Danger Zone > Stop Subscription to open the Stripe cancellation flow. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
Checkout and billing are handled by Stripe. Expensent accepts major debit and credit cards. Stripe Checkout may also offer Apple Pay on eligible devices and browsers.
Is my data secure?
Expensent starts from mailbox metadata and only fetches or analyzes message bodies and attachments for likely invoice or receipt candidates, or when you preview or forward a message. Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo connections use OAuth, so Expensent never sees your password.
What if I need help?
Use Settings > Support for live chat when available, email support from the same section, or the public Contact page. We typically respond within 24 hours on business days.
Can I send invoices to different accountants or teams?
Yes. Pro includes invoice routing: save up to 20 destinations for different companies, accountants, software addresses, or teams, and choose one per send or automatic rule. Existing Pro subscribers receive this feature without changing plans. Solo includes one default destination.
